NYT slammed for using picture of wingnuts in story heralding lower 2022 deficit

The United States deficit dropped from $2.6 trillion to $1.4 trillion in 2022, the New York Times reports. Although the tremendous milestone was reached while the country was under Democratic leadership, the Times received backlash on Friday after the headline image accompanying its reporting featured a photo of wingnuts instead of Democrats.
